Know Dr. Posso
Following graduation from medical school at CES University, Dr. Posso completed her four-year Plastic Surgery residency at the University of Antioquia in 2009.
Once becoming a fully trained plastic surgeon, Dr. Posso completed a Microsurgery and Upper Extremity Surgery fellowship at the University of Paris XIII Sorbonne de Paris in 2011.
Dr. Posso was appointed Professor of Surgery in the Division of Plastic Surgery at The University of Antioquia for 10 years, and she is been performing several reconstructive procedures at different Clinics in Medellín (Clínica La Vegas – Clínica Incodol), Colombia.
Aesthetic Surgery procedures should began with an initial consultation at her private office, located at the Tesoro Medical Tower. Dr. Posso plastic surgery office is a beautiful and relaxing place, with an attached surgery center. The ambiance in her office promotes a feeling of comfort and privacy. Dr. Posso performs all cosmetic procedures Outpatient Surgery Center, located adjacent to her office. This plastic surgery facility is fully accredited by American Association for Accreditation of Ambulatory Surgery Facilities (AAAASF), and the Colombian Society of Anesthesiology with training and certification in advanced cardiac life support (ACLS) certifies all anesthesiologists.
Nowadays, Dr. Posso is an active member of the Colombian Plastic Surgery Society (SCCP), the International Society of Aesthetic Plastic Surgery (ISAPS), The World Society of Reconstructive Microsurgery (WSRM) and the Colombian Hand Society. She has been invited to present her research papers in different conferences, both national and international.
